Key points
- Connectors: 100% fall protection above the trigger height, no walking beams unprotected.
- Never release a load until the connection meets the minimum bolt spec.
- Christmas-treeing (overloading a hoist line with bundles) is prohibited.
- Decking: lay and secure as you go; guard the leading edge.
- Communication between crane, connector, and deck crew is life-critical.
